Job Description

Ensuring correct, fully compliant with the legislation of Ukraine VAT accounting; ensuring the payment of VAT liabilities to Tax Authority in accordance with the terms established by the legislation of Ukraine and the company; absence of claims, fines and penalties against the Company by all bodies controlling the VAT accounting, based on the current tax legislation, finds ways to optimize the calculation of tax and brings them to the attention of the tax manager.  

  • Registers outgoing tax invoices, administers the process of electronic document management for VAT;
  • Responsible for the calculating VAT; correctness, timeliness of changes in accordance with the Law; 
  • Optimization and automation of the existing VAT accounting processes;
  • Preparation of the VAT Declaration. Responsible for the correctness and timeliness of declarations, reports to the Tax Authority. Controls payment;
  • Analyzing and posting incoming tax invoices in the SAP system; generates a monthly report on VAT account balances;
  • Responsible for the process of annual VAT calculation;
  • Calculation of VAT on for non-production write-offs;
  • Administration of the Environmental Tax Report.
  • Preparation for the BS review meeting;
  • Support and assemble information for external auditors for the annual audit;

Qualifications

  • Experience in the position of accountant at least 1+ years;
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, orders and forms of documents in the field of accounting and tax accounting;
  • Knowledge MS Excel, 1C at the expert level (SAP is a plus);
  • English – Intermediate;
  • Proactive, attention to detail, able to work under pressure and meet deadline, determined, hard-working, responsible and reliable
  • Communication skills
