Job Description

The Category Manager MuSe (R&G and Beans categories), UA delivers category P&L. Develops and implements the vision and marketing strategy for a category and brands, in order to achieve short- and long-term sales, profit and market share targets.

The role is responsible for portfolio deployment, range management, campaign translation and execution, artwork translation, local brand management and compiling and sharing key market insights conform agreed brand meaning and visual identity.

Direct report to the Marketing Manager UA.


  • Lead marketing strategic planning (3+ years) process for MuSe category in Ukraine supporting it with development of strong annual Marketing Plans
  • Manage UA MuSE category P&L ensuring achievement of annual business and marketing objectives. In charge of overall business performance: achieving Net sales, Gross profit, EBIT, OWC and market share objectives in line with company targets
  • Manage MuSe Coffee category annual Marketing Plan development & execution within all elements of the Marketing Mix (including product strategy, pricing, execution at the POP level and communication); Coordinate work with Design agencies, Media agency, BTL agencies on marketing plan execution
  • Ensure holistic approach to market sensing, business intelligence and forecasting, including tracking and evaluation of category & consumer trends, competitive set, industry and technology development, macro-environmental factors, marketing communications and media environments; Responsible for compiling local knowledge and key market insight and sharing this information with the central marketing organization for potential innovations and trends.
  • Engage Coffee category team towards business growth. Inspire cross functional team on business targets achievement and over achievement.


  • Enthusiastic about coffee and marketing science
  • Experience in FMCG Innovation/Brand Marketing 5+ years, people manager experience 2+ year
  • Strong leadership skills, Drive for Results, ‘challenge accepted’ positive mindset
  • Valuable team player and effective team-lead with track of records
  • Creative mindset with strong business acumen
  • Bright communicator (strong presentation skills, advanced negotiation and moderation skills)
  • Stress resilience &  ability to work under time pressure, multi-functional, strong ownership
  • Proficient MS Office user
  • Fluent English & Ukrainian
  • Higher education, Marketing will be a plus
