Trade Marketing Specialist, Professional

Job Description

This role translates channel strategy into customer and field sales execution and maximize business performance in Professional Channel.

• Primarily responsible for Coffee and Tea categories’ Professional Channel volume, GTN and investment performances. / Close interaction with Coffee and Tea Commercial Business Partners.
• Secondarily responsible for shopper marketing activities in Prof channel / Close interaction with Shopper Marketing Specialist, Retail.
• Evaluate sales trends, distributors sell-in / sell-out figures and performances.
• Support Sales Operations in calculation of sales bonus for the channel.
• Manage to establish and track machinery park investment and efficiency.
• Engagement with global and/or local Shopper Marketing and Sales Strategy team members and cross functional teams to deal with any issues regarding performances, layouts, guidelines, opportunities, risks by tracking.
• Track and benchmark global best practices.
• Work closely with the Commercial Business Partners to create, update and benchmark guidelines based on Professional channel specific 4P decisions.
• In charge of executing effective communication with field sales and technical team in the channel.
• Participate in international project meetings to assist on local input and participate in the definition of templates.
• Assistance to the AOP and VCP processes of Commercial Business Partners when required.
• Assist Commercial Business Partners in profitable trade activities and P&L tracking.
• Translate brand/category/channel strategy into customer and field sales execution and maximize business performance in Professional Channel.

Qualifications

• Minimum BA-BS
• Several years’ experience in Trade Marketing
• Prior Professional Channel (HORECA) experience either at Sales or Trade marketing is welcomed
• General knowledge in Consumer Packed Goods Industry
• General understanding of Professional (HORECA) channels, Turkey
• Multinational FMCG company background preferred
• Fluent English
• Excellent command of MS Office Tools
• Strong influential skills, very good communicator, able to fully engage key stakeholders for implementing JDE strategies and deliver KPIs
• Accurate, resilient, flexible thinking, highly analytical
